KINO 2017
(Tickets available NOW!)

The opening film is the humorously-dramatic story of MY BLIND DATE WITH LIFEhas captured the hearts of the German audience with its skillful combination of drama and situation comedy.

GOOD BYE BERLIN, an enchanting road movie of two young outsiders by Fatih Akin.

Full of black humour throughout the film, THE BLOOM OF YESTERDAY deals with the ghosts of the past, family secrets and the Holocaust.

A HEAVY HEART sheds light on a former boxer whose final fight is against a deadly disease and – in a completely different way of tackling the same subject - the mysterious film WILD is about a woman who has an almost erotic relationship with a wolf. This art house film by Nicolette Krebitz was awarded the German Film Award in four categories.

The fact that women had to fight for their recognition as an artist more than 100 years ago is portrayed in PAULA, a film on the painter Paula Becker-Modersohn: a touching film about love and art, filled with bright colours of Paula’s paintings.

Deep emotions, touching stories, strong images – what great cinema features, are shown in KINO/17. Secure your tickets in time and discover your favourite film!
